We’re passionate about bringing human-centred stories to life through film. Currently in development is Wallflower, a short film about an introverted Black teenage girl who is gifted with a necklace from her grandmother and wearing it is the only way to maintain her confidence.

Kern is a writer and author who has written and published three novels — Boys & Girls Screaming, Thoughts of a Fractured Soul and Beauty Scars. He is also a ghostwriter helping influencers pen books and connect with their audience.

CRY Creative is founded by Kern Carter and Safia Bartholomew, two writers who are passionate about giving others a platform to share their truth.
